Trial appointments are not mandatory, but we do highly recommend them to ensure your hair and makeup are on point and are what you've been "pinning" since you got engaged. During a trial, you can try out styles and looks and make decisions so you can relax and enjoy getting ready.

We partner and collaborate with you to design a look you love, completely customized to your taste, by combining our years of expertise and your personal vision.We encourage you to be open with your artist, letting them know when you are loving the direction or if it needs to shift. Once you love your look, your artist captures everything they need to replicate it on your wedding day!

Trial Upgrades

Hair Extension Application
Installation and styling of 100% human hair clip-in extensions. Extensions must be purchased in advance and must be 100% human hair on a clip-in track.

What to expect.

Trial locations
Trials will take place in the corresponding state in which services will be contracted for the wedding day. Specifically, if the wedding is taking place in MD, VA or DC, the trial will take place in our Columbia, MD studio. If your wedding is taking place in South Carolina, your trial will take place in Charleston, SC.  All Florida weddings will take place in St. Augustine/Jacksonville, FL. Lastly, any weddings in Cambridge, St. Michaels or any coastal beach area, your trial will take place in our Salisbury, MD studio location.
Trial scheduling
Trials are by appointment only. Most trials take place on Wednesday evenings. We have very limited availability for weekend trials as we are on-site with weddings. Most clients schedule their trials 3 to 4 months out from their wedding date.
Trial fees are pre-paid to reserve your trial
Trial fees are not included in the wedding contract. You do receive a discounted trial fee if you have signed a contract and submitted your deposit. All trial fees are non-refundable.
Studio guest policy
Each client may bring a “plus-one” to share their experience. The guest is to remain in the lobby and not enter the service areas. Brides will come out once services are completed.

No children are allowed in studio.
Last minute cancellations
We know last minute cancellations sometimes happen. Please let us know as soon as possible if you need to reschedule your appointment. Fees may apply.
Gratuity is always appreciated
Gratuity is not included but always appreciated. — Typically the industry standard is 15-20%. Cash or Venmo are great options.
