I absolutely loved working with the Updos For I Dos team! Having a small, intimate wedding meant that I got to be my own wedding planner and interact from start to finish with my vendors. Jaclyn was a delight to work with, she listened to every piece of feedback I had during my trial and somehow made my rambled thoughts about makeup and hair into something truly spectacular. As someone who doesn’t often wear makeup, I was really nervous about that part, but I truly have never felt more beautiful thanks to Jaclyn’s excellent work.

I recently had the pleasure of contracting the most extraordinary hair and makeup services for my June 2023 wedding, and I am still in awe of the incredible talent that was brought to life on my special day. The level of expertise and attention to detail demonstrated by Mary and Dana was truly exceptional. Dana is the sweetest soul one will ever meet, from the moment we got to our venue, Dana greeted us with the friendliest smile and congratulated me on our big day. She was very welcoming at 9am, (which is rare for most people at that hour). Dana first went through each of my bridesmaid’s hair, answering different questions they had, created a masterpiece with each of their hairstyles, and perfecting how each of them wanted it done. Then I come along…Dana had to put up with the 100+ inspiration photos I had, and still with me having no idea specifically what I wanted. So I told her, “I trust you”, and let her get to work. She blew me away with what she was able to create, and amazed me with her work! Dana is the type of person that makes you feel right at home and so comfortable. I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else on our big day, THANK YOU DANA!!

The Updos For I Dos team was such a joy to work with from my hair & makeup trial to the day of the wedding! I'm so grateful for Steffani and Kelly for going above and beyond in helping me and my bridal party look and feel amazing. One of the highlights of my day was seeing how excited my mom and mother-in-law were to have their hair & makeup done!

My husband Seth and I were married on May 20th 2023 at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort, Spa and Marina. Our wedding planner Belle of the Ball gave us a list of recommended hair and makeup vendors and UpDos for I Dos was one of them along with some other hair and makeup artists but I loved that this company did both hair and makeup so I booked with them. Ashlie was assigned for makeup and Jennifer for hair. I don’t normally wear a lot of makeup at all so I was very nervous because I did not want to look too done up but also did not want to look not done up enough but Ashlie made me look perfect! I had a hair and makeup trial in January of 2023 and I was not totally in love with the makeup look at my first trial so I had a second trial with Ashlie again a few weeks later and she listened to every change I wanted to make and the second trial turned out perfectly! I also was very indecisive about my hair and at the trial I thought I wanted a half up half down look but I ended up asking Jennifer to do all down voluminous curls on the day of the wedding and it turned out perfect! Ashlie and Jennifer were a great team on the day of the wedding and brought such fun energy to the day! Ashlie is the life of the party and will sing to you while making you forget about any nerves you may have. This company was also very accommodating with changes I needed to make at the last minute with the number of services and I am so happy I booked UpDos for IDos and I will recommend them every time!

Updos For I Dos is such a pleasure to work with! They did an absolutely amazing job for our wedding. They were so well organized, professional, and on point with communication every step of the way. They highly exceeded my expectations and we had 20 people! YES 20 people! get hair and makeup done and we finished right on time - there was absolutely no stress at all with this. In addition, they do services for men and people of color, which was hard to find in this area. My group was so diverse (black women in my bridal party, my MIL is Indian with thick hair down to her bottom, as examples) and everyone was very pleased with how they looked. The goal was for everyone to feel comfortable and beautiful and that is exactly what happened! I could not recommend them more. And of course, something will go wrong on your wedding day (for me we had some illnesses remove people from attendance) and they were really flexible with subbing out people to have their services instead. I absolutely loved using UpDos For I Dos for my wedding, and would 100% recommend them to anyone else who is looking for a hair and makeup service! The company itself was so easy to work with, and extremely responsive to any questions that I had. Then the trial went so smoothly - both Heather and Ashley were happy to make any changes I wanted, and they took notes on everything they did to make sure they would get it exactly right on the actual wedding day. Then on the wedding day, Heather and Ashley showed up early, they were very efficient and made sure everyone was happy with their look - Ashley even re-did my mom's hair when it was a little tight for her, and made sure that my mom was happy. They even stayed a little bit later than they were supposed to (totally my family's fault) to make sure everyone who had signed up got their hair and makeup done. Then I had forgotten to bring any lipstick at all with me and Heather was so nice and gave me the new lipstick she had used on me (even though that was not part of the package at all). My makeup stayed the ENTIRE night, even though I sweat a lot! And my hair lasted through three hours of dancing! The entire time Heather and Ashley were so professional and kind; I highly recommend this company for anyone looking!

There are so many wonderful things I could say about updos for I do's. I had previously been a part of a wedding that used them as a vendor and I loved their work. When I got engaged, I knew it was a no-brainer who I would use for hair on my wedding day. During the planning process, they were quick to respond, answer any questions, and were so accommodating to my type A needs. Haley Hiss was my stylist for both weddings and she is truly the best. Haley was early for the day, ready to roll and completed 8 wedding day hair looks not only on time but ahead of schedule! During my trial, I had discussed wanting a hair change (party pony) for reception and she walked my sister through the steps and again on wedding day. She even left the products we would need to complete it. Haley goes above and beyond for her brides which you feel as soon as you are in her presence. Not only is her work amazing, but her personality is just as beautiful and I truly consider her a friend."

I LOVED working with Updos For I Dos for my wedding in October. They helped me find the perfect natural makeup look I was hoping for, and turned me into a Celtic Warrior Princess with my hair! The team was lovely, sweet, and so good at what they do. Would recommend to anyone looking for a company for their wedding!

Jennifer and Steffani were absolutely amazing!! They got all 11 of us done with time to spare and everyone loved their hair and makeup. They were the perfect duo! Where do I begin?? Updos for I Do’s exceeded all of my expectations! They were really great with communication, the trial was extremely helpful, and they made the morning of my wedding stress-free and fun! Haley was amazing. For starters, my hairdresser who was supposed to highlight my hair a week before the wedding CANCELLED!!! I panicked especially since it’s impossible to get a new appointment within 5 days. Haley was a hero and made some phone calls and got me in with a new hairdresser who ended up being amazing. Haley really took the time to listen to me and made sure my hair and makeup felt natural and that I felt like myself. I wasn’t sure about hair extensions and fake eyelashes, but after my trial and certainly after my wedding, I was so happy Haley showed me both versions! I didn’t know that hair extensions and fake eyelashes could look so natural! Haley made me feel like every detail was just as important to her as it was to me! Thank you!!

From the very start to finish Updos for I Dos was amazing. They were professional and very personable to everyone who was both in and out of my bridal party. They immediately found a spot to work, set their stations up, and begin to work on our bridesmaids. As a wedding photographer in business for 17 years, I've seen lots of women get ready for special events and I've worked with lots of hair and makeup teams. I couldn't have been more thrilled with my experience with Updos for I Dos for my own wedding in September 2021. I hired them for hair and makeup for myself and my best friend and hair styling for my two daughters. We all had so much fun getting ready. And I've never felt more beautiful in my entire life (and I don't think it was *just* the magic touch of rose gold sparkle that Andy added to my eye makeup after seeing my sequin dress!). Heather and Dana provided makeup and hair services for myself, my bridesmaids, and my mother and mother-in-law. Everyone turned out absolutely beautiful and I received so many compliments on my own hair and makeup. From my trial to the day of, we could not have been happier with our Updos For I Dos experience!! Being an Updos For I Dos bride is truly the BEST! From the moment I booked with them, they were professional and timely with all of my requests and scheduling my trial. We had the best experience with Updos For I Dos! We had a large group (15 women) and they were able to assign 2 hair stylists and 2 makeup artists to ensure we were finished in a timely manner. We finished early! The artists were so welcoming and a great presence to have around while we were getting ready. Andy and Liseth did my makeup and hair and they were OUTSTANDING! This is the third time I’ve used Updos For I Dos and they were absolutely amazing!!!! The first two times I used them I was a bridesmaid, and most recently for my wedding. Liseth did such a great job with my hair on my wedding day, and I’m so happy I went with Updos For I Dos!! She was able to execute my vision perfectly. Despite getting my hair done early in the morning, my curls held throughout the day and late into the night!! She was also able to flawlessly execute a wide range of hairstyles for my bridesmaids, allowing everyone to feel beautiful that day. The best makeup experience I’ve ever had!

Everyone's hair and makeup looked absolutely incredible. Additionally, they consistently asked for feedback and were extremely receptive to minor tweaks and changes. This was incredibly useful during my trial when I was figuring out what I wanted and liked. Additionally, the Updos for I Dos team was extremely responsive and easy to work with. I highly recommend this rockstar team of professionals to any bride!

From the start, they were all very friendly and very focused on making sure that both the hair and makeup for me and my bridesmaids looked exactly how we all wanted. All of the stylists and MUA's that I interacted with were extremely receptive to feedback and very willing to make changes to suit what I wanted. When my original hairstylist was sick and couldn't make it on the wedding day, they immediately found me two backup hairstylists who also did a great job.

Updo’s For I Do’s was absolutely amazing. From the beginning, Ashley was always extremely quick to respond and answer all my questions. We had Haley as our hairstylist and she worked magic on all of our hair. I have extremely thick hair and wanted all my hair up, I couldn’t believe it lasted all night even through all the dancing!

I used Updos for I Dos for my wedding and am so glad I did! They stuck with us through two years of postponements and were incredibly easy to communicate with. Even though my trial ended up being two years before the wedding date (thank you covid!), I was able to send updated pictures and alterations. Liseth arrived on time, put up with our stories and banter all morning, and completely knocked my hairstyle out of the park! So many compliments the entire day and... it held the whole night! My hair is LONG and THICK and she came prepared. Couldn't recommend more!
